His research mainly focuses on large-scale distributed systems and high-bandwidth networks in data centers. He has graduated with a BEng (Bachelor of Engineering) degree (first-class honour) from HKUST. In his undergraudate, he finished dual majors in computer science and computer engineering. He also went to the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Washington, Seattle for an academic exchange program during the winter quarter of 2010.
